Early Life and Education

Career Beginnings

Bridget then moved to New York to pursue her acting career, and made a couple of appearances in plays, including in “Sweet Bird of Youth” at La Jolla Playhouse, then “Children and Art” on Broadway, and “The Scottish Play”, at La Jolla again. At that time, her screen career started and she became more focused on film and television roles. Her screen debut came in 2006, when she appeared in the comedy film “The Wedding Album”. Through the role, Bridget gained recognition throughout Hollywood, which resulted in new popular roles, such as her double role in the thriller series “White Collar” (2013-2014), followed by playing Addy in the action film “John Wick” (2014), with Keanu Reeves, Michael Nyquist and Alfie Allen as the stars of the film, then in 2015 she joined the cast of the highly-acclaimed series “Agent Carter” as Dottie Underwood.

That is not the end of her endeavors, as Bridget co-starred with Milo Ventimiglia and Amanda Schull in the horror thriller film “Devil’s Gate” in 2017.

Return to the Stage

Although she gained fame as a screen actress, Bridget remained true to the stage too, appearing in several more popular plays since making her debut on screen. From December 2007 until March 2009 she portrayed Cecile Leroux in the play “Is He Dead” on Broadway, while she was also Begonia Brown in the play “Geneva”. 1I'm really eager to go back and do some theater. I would love to do some more comedy as well because I think that's really the hardest thing to do; it's what I grew up doing, and I would love to go back and do that. I did a lot of theater growing up - musical theater.
2I did a lot of musical theater when I was younger, and I really hope to get back there someday. I miss singing a lot. I listen to Broadway show tunes in my car and sing along to them.
3Being on film is forever. Television, as well, just lives on and on and on, which is really exciting. But then with theater, it's like an experience. You have to be there that one special night that was like that to see that one performance that was really remarkable. It's more intimate as well. So I like them both.
4I just always wanted to be an actor. I don't remember ever not wanting to be an actor.
5I love 'Game of Thrones' and 'Breaking Bad.'
6I long for an audience. I ache for it. I think that's one of the hardest things about the television medium is that you don't get that. You don't get that immediate response.
