Early Life and Education

The daughter of Chrys and John Howard, Korie is also the granddaughter of the famous businessman and author Alton Hardy Howard. After she finished high school, Korie enrolled at Harding University, located in Searcy, Arkansas, and eventually earned Outstanding Young Alumni honors, but unfortunately, her field of study remains hidden.

However, even before finishing her studies, Korie married Willie Robertson in 1992, after several years of a relationship, and on the completion of her degree, soon became involved in the family business.

Career Beginnings

The Duck Commander business is the one that Korie joined; the company manufactures duck- and deer-hunting merchandise under the Buck Commander brand. As the business grew, Korie’s popularity improved along with the reputation of the business, and after 20 years, she and the rest of the family were selected as cast members of the new A&E series “Duck Dynasty” in 2012.
