Alicia started her career in the position of an assignment editor. Then she had a job offer from KSEE-TV (NBC) in Fresno, California, and held the position of a weekday reporter and anchor, appearing on TV screens in the 5 p.m. newscast. Later she became a weekend reporter and anchor for KGET-TV (NBC) in Bakersfield, California, and appeared in the 11 p.m. newscasts. In 1997 she joined the Fox News Channel, at that time a freshly established channel from 1996. Alicia has been an essential reporter for the political coverage of the network, and from then until the present moment she works in the Denver bureau in the position of general assignment reporter. Alicia was nominated for the 1997 APTRA reporter of the year award, and was the runner-up. She also managed to conduct a fellowship with the national headquarters of the CBS News.

Alicia is famous for covering the first Presidential debate which took place in 2012, at the University of Denver in Colorado. In 2008 Alicia also covered the Denver Democratic Convention. In May 2013 Alicia covered the beginning of the devastating EF5 tornado, reporting live right from Moore, Oklahoma. Alicia recently reported live from Dallas, Texas from where she covered the disastrous Ebola outbreak.

    • Watched Alicia Acuna “spar” with with Dem. Congressman about the Republicans to blame for the stimulus delay, stating they’re so close to making a deal but Mnuchin keeps rejecting it. We know that it is more about issues than money with Pelosi wanting to bail out NY, Calif, etc; with not money for businesses but benefits for illegals….she never once challenged him on the issues. Not the Fox News I have been loyal to for twenty years or more!!
