Her university, also known as California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is one of the largest universities in California by enrollment, and is also the CSU system with the largest graduate student population. The school is located at the Los Altos neighborhood of Long Beach and offers 82 different Bachelor’s degrees, 65 types of Master’s degrees, and four Doctoral Degrees. It is also one of the top universities in the West Coast in terms of racial diversity. Her course in sports psychology delves into knowledge of various related fields such as kinesiology, physiology, psychology, and biomechanics. It focuses on how psychological factors can affect a person’s performance, and how sports or exercises can also affect their psychology.

Career

After completing her education, Bell began working at the company Theracare as a Behavioral Consultant. The company offers various rehabilitation related services, and various types of therapies to help people dealing with injuries, and to also help the elderly improve their motor as well as their mental functions. As a part of her job, she started learning how an environment can influence behavior, and applies various techniques to help promote or remove that type of behavior within a person. After her work there, she then moved to Autism Partnership at Seal Beach, where she continued to work as a behavior consultant. The company focuses on people dealing with autism, and how they can be treated to help them integrate themselves into society.

One of her latest jobs is serving as the Basketball League Coordinator at the Alpert Jewish Community Centre (AJCC), located at Long Beach, which is known for their programs which aims to help various Jewish children and youths, and promote community as well as Jewish traditions. Aviss mostly co-ordinates various basketball games and tournaments, and other events if she has the time.

In 1999, he landed the role of Officer Ty Davis, Jr. in the show “Third Watch”, becoming one of the five original cast members to remain on the show for its entire six season run on NBC. After the end of the show, he gained a recurring role as the firefighter Glen Stallworth in the comedy series ‘Half & Half”. A few of his latest projects include the series “The Game” in which he plays the captain of a fictional football team, later reprising his role when the series returned on BET two years after its initial cancellation. He also joined the cast of the show “Burn Notice”, playing the role of counter intelligence agent Jesse Porter.

For her personal life, it is known that Aviss married Coby Bell in 2001, though details about their relationship and marriage have never been publicly shared.
