Early life and family

William John “Billy” Miller II was born on 17 September 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma USA, so under the sign of Virgo and holding American nationality. His family moved to the south, and Billy grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Due to some troubles with his health, Billy spent over five years being a patient of Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Texas – he hasn’t forget all the good they did for him, and still supports the organization. When Billy was 24, he auditioned for the daytime soap opera “As the World Turns” aired on CBS. For almost two years he couldn’t get another chance to appear in any commercials or photoshoots, getting back to work only in 2006. He returned to acting in an episode of the popular series “CSI: NY” (2004-2013), performing as Will Graham. Later he was cast in more roles, among them the part of Mickey Gerhardt in Castle (2009 – 2016), he also played James Earl Dean in Justified (2010 – 2015), and appeared as Marcus in “Suits” (2011 – present). After starring in such TV-films as “Fatal Honeymoon” (2012) and “American Sniper” (2014), Billy joined the cast of the legendary series “General Hospital” in September 2014, in the part of Jason Morgan.


Most importantly, for his brilliant performance in the series “The Young and the Restless” from 2008-14, Billy won Daytime Emmy Awards as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series three times: in 2010, 2013 and 2014.
