Lebel started her career journey in 2014 when she had an internship with Channel 6 News, Lawrence, and once she had proved her skills, Jessica got a job to start working as their weekend meteorologist. In June 2015, she made a decision to become a weekend meteorologist in KJCT News 8, where she worked as their multimedia journalist. This opportunity earned her a lot of success and she became an expert at her job. That same year, KKCO 11 News discovered her prowess and they offered her a job as their meteorological reporter – Jessica did not hesitate and she accepted the offer. After this job, she landed yet another at KKTV 11 News working as their midday meteorologist at the CBS affiliate in Colorado Springs, before she left on 8th March and finally moved back to Denver.
While in Colorado Springs, she had the work of covering blizzards, wildfires, tornadoes, and other devastating flood events. In March 2017, Jessica joined the team of Pinpoint Weather on Fox31, as well as Colorado’s Own Channel 2.
