As of early-2019, sources inform us of a net worth that is over $2.5 million, earned through a successful career in comedy, and probably elevated thanks to the success of her deceased husband, who has a net worth estimated to be over $2 million. Very little is known about Lahna’s family, childhood, and education, except that she grew up with a strong interest in comedy, which eventually led her to her pursuit of a career in that field. She started rising to prominence when she collaborated with her husband as a producer of his comedy special, entitled “Ralphie May: Imperfectly Yours”, which led to her starting her own comedy productions, and eventually releasing her own special – “So I Wrote a Song About It”.
She also began taking acting projects, working on the 2014 independent comedy film “Teacher of the Year” which starred Keegan-Michael Key, and focused on a teacher in a California high school who is offered an opportunity to leave his job. Three years later, she began working on the film “This is Meg”, about the life of an actress and comedian who is forced to shift emphasis with the increase of social media use; the film markets itself as one basing from true events. One of her latest projects is “Brand New Old Love”, which is about former high school friends running into each other and remembering that they had a promise to marry each other at a certain age, but discover that things are now somewhat different.
Husband – Ralpie May
Ralphie May is best known for his extensive touring and comedy specials, which are often aired through the web television platform Netflix. At the age of 17, he won a comedy competition held by his idol Sam Kinison, and was encouraged to move to Houston to develop his comedy skills. He attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and after matriculating, moved to Los Angeles to fully pursue a career in comedy.
There, he became a contestant during the first season of “Last Comic Standing”, reaching second place in the competition behind Dat Phan. Afterwards, he began appearing in various comedy shows such as “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Wayne Brady Show”, and also collaborating with Comedy Central to release specials such as “Too Big to Ignore”, “Prime Cut”, and “Girth of a Nation”. A few of his more recent projects include Netflix specials such as “Imperfectly Yours” and “Unruly”.
Relationship and Marriage
Little is known as to how Turner met Ralphie, but the two eventually married in 2005. They had two children together and she became a strong supporter of his, despite his life-long struggle with obesity. His weight increased to 360 kilograms following a car accident, and he had gastric bypass surgery and participated in “Celebrity Fit Club” which lowered his weight to 160 kilograms. He’s had a number of health scares throughout his life including a nearly fatal pulmonary embolism in 2011.
The two began collaborating together as May’s fame increased, including working on comedy specials together. They even started a podcast entitled “Perfect 10” which began in 2013. However, it was known that the relationship of the two became rocky during the latter part of his career. According to Turner, it was their children who kept things steady and kept them inspired. However, it wasn’t enough to prompt the couple filing for divorce in 2015 seeking for physical and joint custody with the children. They were never able to complete the divorce settlement due to his passing.

Death of Ralphie May
In 2017, Ralphie had been battling pneumonia for several weeks which had already led him to cancel shows for a month – the disease is an inflammation of the lung which leads to chest pain, trouble breathing, fever, and dry cough. It is usually caused by an infection with bacteria or viruses and if not treated well, can lead to other lung diseases. He then went into cardiac arrest on 6 October 2017 – his death was confirmed by his publicist and he is survived by his wife along with their two children.
Prior to his death, he was scheduled to do a meet and greet after a performance in Las Vegas, one that he wanted to do despite his condition; many of those close to him noticed that his condition was already deteriorating as the sickness continued to take hold. A few months after his passing, a memoir of him was published entitled “This Might Get a Little Heavy”. Since then, Lahna has continued to move forward in her comedy career and performs stand-up comedy on a regular basis. Most of her projects are promoted through her online accounts on social media. She posts regularly on both Twitter and Instagram.
