Nancy Ellen Walls was born on 19 July 1966, in Cohasset, Massachusetts USA. She’s the daughter of Robert and his wife Carol Walls., and has one sibling, Tish Vivado. She attended Cohasset High School, and after matriculation enrolled at Boston College, from which she graduated in 1988.

During her college years, Nancy was a member of My Mother’s Fleabag, an improvisational troupe.
