Born in Woodbridge, Connecticut, Kemsley is of American and part-Israeli descent, as her father, Shalom Lemel is from Israel, who also helped her to learn the Hebrew language. After completing her basic schooling in her hometown in Woodbridge, she decided to leave the country and travel the world.
After graduating with a degree in marketing, design and communications, Kemsley flew to Italy and there was able to get a job in an international swimwear organization. She worked for the company for 10 years that helped both her career and also her net worth.

This is the second marriage for Paul, who is a businessman, property developer and talent manager, who helped managed Boy George. He was also the former Vice-Chairman of the Premier League Football Club, Tottenham Hotspur.

During the filming of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, it was shown that the couple are experiencing some problems with their son Jagger, and it was later discovered that her son has dyspraxia, a condition in the brain that makes it hard to co-ordinate physical movements.
