You know why I talk about self love so much? Because I fought tooth and nail for it. I sought it everywhere else than within my own being. It was always the relationship, the job, the geography, the food, the clothes, the drink, the friend, even motherhood. And they worked, until they didn’t, and I was on to the next. I was running, so externally focused, and I was secretly carrying my own solution within me the whole time. . . Everything had to all get taken away. I was left with me. I paired down. I slowed down. I stopped grasping at things and clinging to people. And created a daily practice around self love. I thought it was about growing closer to Source through spiritual practices. And that’s an aspect of it, because it opened me up to the mysteries and feeling supported by the Unseen, which created a feeling of safety I’d always sought. And it became the foundation from which everything could unfold in grace. But it was really all about falling in love with me. Everything was a context to do that. Every situation. Every ex. Every drama. Every loss. About moving closer to aligning in love and acceptance for where I was in the moment. And it happened. I fell in love. With me. People don’t say that enough, so it comes out sounding strange. But I enjoyed my own company more than anyone else’s. Got picky about who pushed into that space. Cultivated my likes, my alone time. Curated a life of good, of peace, and of service. That’s the way through for me, passing it on, so it truly became mine to keep. . . It’s been a lovely journey from dark to light, which are seemlessly interwoven by the way. And I now know who I am and how I serve. I wish that for every person on the planet. And I will be here to support as many as I can through coaching, workshops, and writing, if it serves for the highest good. It’s my honor to walk alongside anyone who is ready to shift and move into deep acceptance and love for themselves. Even if they don’t know yet that that’s what they’re seeking out, in all other places. It’s always about coming home to you. . . . #allthepathsleadtoyou #itsnotoutthere #findingyourcenter #supportfromtheunseen #holyshift #spiritualcoach
