Born Sara Elizabeth Walsh on the 12th April 1978, in the Tampa Bay area, Florida USA, she is the daughter of John Walsh and his wife Wendy. She hasn’t disclosed whether she has any siblings or not. For her education, Sara went to Gulf High School, in New Port Richey, Florida, and following her matriculation, enrolled at the University of North Florida, where she became a member of the soccer team and posted several records, such as scoring the most goals in a game.

Sara’s career started in the early 2000s, as a sports writer for Beaches Leader Newspaper, headquartered in Jacksonville Beach. After a while, she joined WPGA station in Macon, Georgia, where between 2001 and 2003 she worked as a Sports Director. Gradually Sara was becoming more popular, resulting in new offers from several TV stations. As a result, she joined WKRN headquartered in Nashville, where she remained until 2006, during which she won four regional Emmy awards.
She primarily served as the co-host of the weekly “Monday Night Live” show, next to Jeff Fisher, the National Football League (NFL) Tennessee Titans’ head coach, while she also hosted a weekly radio show with Albert Haynesworth, then a Titans defensive tackle.

However, it was in 2010 that she struck the deal of her career, when she was offered a spot at ESPN in its “SportsCenter” show. In addition, Sara worked on several other shows, such as “SportsNation”, “NFL Live”, “Fantasy Football Now”, and “First Take” amongst others, all of which contributed to her wealth. However, Sara was fired by ESPN in May 2017, just a few days before she was set to return to work from her maternity leave. Despite this, she had already become a star, and it was quite easy for her to land a new job, being recruited by Fox Sports as the new reporter for the 2018-2019 NFL season.
Furthermore, she was given the role of a studio host for the NASCAR racing coverage by Fox Sports, which further increased her exposure, popularity and wealth.
