Career
The group was formed in 2008 and their name means “The Answer” in Afrikaans. In 2009, they released their debut album entitled “$O$”, which featured songs such as “She Makes Me A Killer”, “Wie Maakie Jol Vol?” and “Enter The Ninja”, and received a generally positive response from their audience. As of 2010, they released two EPs, “Evil Boy” and “Enter the Ninja” and in 2012 they worked on their second studio album, “Ten$ion”, consisting of songs such as “Fatty Boom Boom”, “So What?” and “I Fink U Freeky”, with the latter being their most successful and best recognized song as of today. Speaking about their latest projects, in 2018 they released yet another EP, entitled “Alien”.
Acting Career
Yolandi has briefly acted, making her debut in “Umshini Wam” and following by working on “Die Antwoord: I Fink U Freeky”, “Die Antwoord: Fatty Boom Boom” and “Chappie”, with the latter being an action drama movie starring Sharlto Copley and Dev Patel. Overall, Visser has had six acting gigs and we believe there is more to come for her, as she’s talented and hardworking.
