Who is Caroline Arapoglou?

American actress Caroline Arapoglou (nee Freedlund) was born under the zodiac sign Capricorn on 15 January 1991, in Williamsville, Illinois USA. She has 14 acting credits, and is perhaps known best for portraying Winnie Kline in four episodes of what many people believe to be one of the best series of all-time – the horror fantasy “Stranger Things”. It’s been airing since 2016, stars Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder and Millie Bobby Brown, and follows a girl with supernatural powers as she’s defending her friends from mysterious forces; the series has won 108 of the 412 awards for which it’s been nominated.

Caroline was raised in Williamsville by her parents, about whom not many details have been shared as Caroline respects their privacy; even though she’s yet to speak about having siblings, many of Caroline’s fans believe that she was raised alongside her older brother.

She studied at a local high school in Williamsville, and although she became interested in acting during her time there, she still remained focused on her education; some of Caroline’s other interests during her teenage years were taking dance lessons, playing the piano and practicing creative writing.

She matriculated in 2009, and then enrolled at Kennesaw State University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in dance in 2013.

Caroline’s debut TV series role was playing Waitress in the 2016 episode “Go for Broke” of the critically acclaimed musical comedy “Atlanta”, which starred LaKeith Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry and Donald Glover, and was also created by Donald Glover. It follows the lives of aspiring rappers Alfred and Earn from Atlanta, the series aired from 2016 through 2022 and won 59 of its 207 award nominations.

Caroline could then have been seen appearing in an episode of the crime mystery “Good Behavior”, the action crime adventure “Sleepy Hollow”, and the mystery horror “Lore”.

In 2018 and 2019, she played Noni Turner in four episodes of the drama “The Resident”, which starred Bruce Greenwood and Matt Czuchry, and was created by Hayley Schore and Amy Holden Jones. Caroline’s debut film appearance was playing Beach House Girl in the 2017 romantic crime drama “Hot Summer Nights”, which starred Maika Monroe and Timothee Chalamet, and was written and directed by Elijah Bynum. It follows a teenage boy as he’s selling pot to gangsters in Cape Cod, and is falling in love for the first time; the film was nominated for two awards.

Caroline could then have been seen appearing in the 2018 short fantasy horror “Entry Point” and the 2019 romantic drama “Love Takes Flight”.

In 2020, she portrayed Brook in the comedy “Like a Boss”, which starred Rose Byrne, Salma Hayek and Tiffany Haddish, and was directed by Miguel Arteta. It follows the lives of two very different fiends, and the film won one of its six award nominations.

Caroline’s only other film role has been playing Sally in the 2021 mystery comedy “Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets”, which starred Roger Dale Floyd, Michael H. Cole and Lucas Jade Zumann, and was written and directed by Yaniv Raz. It follows 16 years old James Whitman who’s sought help from imaginary pigeon therapist Dr. Bird because he’s struggling with depression and anxiety; the movie won a 2022 International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience Fairplay Award.

Love life and husband

Caroline can rarely be heard speaking about her love life in public, but it’s widely known that she and Nick exchanged vows in 2015; they haven’t spoken about how long they’d been together prior to marrying, but it’s believed that they met on the set of the play “The Gifts of the Magi” in 2012.

Nick’s also quite popular for playing Deputy Jim Hayworth in the critically acclaimed 2020 horror thriller comedy movie “Freaky”, which starred Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn, and was written and directed by Christopher Landon. It follows a high school senior who’s somehow swapped bodies with a deranged serial killer, and the film won one of its 19 award nominations.

Caroline and Nick welcomed their child in either March or April 2023; they are keeping the baby away from the media’s attention and his/her name, gender and exact date of birth remain undisclosed.
