Early Life and Education

Born Heeyoon Kang in a small town in Massachusetts, USA, Hyoon’s love for art was evident from a young age. She would often be found sketching in her notebooks, lost in her own world of imagination. Her parents, recognizing her talent, enrolled her in art classes where she honed her skills. For her higher education, she pursued a degree in Fine Arts, specializing in digital illustration. This foundation played a pivotal role in shaping her future career.

Rise to Fame

In her artwork, Hyoon mostly focuses on characters and portraits. She’s known for her delicate, but still rough-around-the-edges art style, and use of pastel colors. Her style is inspired by both Japanese and Western animation.

In the following months, Hyoon continued to showcase more of her work, with her renditions of popular anime and video game characters attracting attention online.

As her followers grew, so did opportunities. Collaborations with brands and invitations to art and gaming conventions soon followed. Her dedication and consistent output soon made her a household name in the digital art community.

In addition to her artwork, Hyoon also often uploads sometimes provocative photos of herself in and out of cosplay, which have also contributed to her online popularity.
