Who is Arthur Chatto?
Member of the British royal family Arthur Robert Nathaniel Chatto, was born in London, England under the zodiac sign Aquarius on 5 February 1999. He’s perhaps only known for being a grand nephew of Queen Elizabeth II, and son of Lady Sarah Frances Elizabeth Chatto; he was born 29th in line for the throne, but is today steadily becoming a social media star.
Education and early life
Arthur and his brother Samuel were raised in London by their mother Lady Sarah and father Daniel Chatto; Lady Sarah’s today a professional painter and is represented by the Redfern Gallery, while Daniel’s a former actor and artist, with 16 acting credits to his name, perhaps still known best for playing Guy in the 1981 romantic movie “Quartet”.
Arthur grew up being interested in sports, excelling in soccer and basketball; he studied at the exclusive boarding school Eton College, and appeared in a couple of plays performed there, while he was also a member of the school’s Combined Cadet Force.
Upon matriculating in 2017, Arthur enrolled at Edinburgh University in Scotland, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in history of art in 2021.
Arthur’s career
Arthur’s yet to launch a career in any field, however, he once had more than 200,000 followers on Instagram, and his pictures which featured him shirtless caused some controversy because of him being a member of the British royal family; it’s widely believed that these pictures led Arthur’s family to convince him to delete his Instagram account, which Arthur’s recently done.
Arthur joined the Royal Marines on 3 June 2022, but it remains unknown whether or not he’s still with them.
It remains unknown what Arthur’s plans for the future are, if he’ll be finding a job, but some of his fans believe that he might become a college professor in the history of art.
Love life and girlfriend
Although Arthur (and his family) prefer to keep his love life away from media, it’s widely known that he’s today in a relationship with a non-celebrity British girl. He met Lizzie while they were studying together at Edinburgh University, and Arthur went on to upload pictures featuring them together onto his Instagram account; the two could’ve been seen spending time together at Royal Scot in the summer of 2022.
Some of Arthur’s fans believe that he and Lizzie might be close to exchanging vows, claiming to have recently seen a ring on Lizzie’s finger, but this remains unconfirmed.
There are no other girls whom Arthur’s perhaps been with, that we know about; he’s in a relationship with Lizzie as of September 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Interesting facts and hobbies
He’s physically highly active and enjoys working out at the gym on a daily basis; Arthur occasionally showed off his muscular body in his Instagram pictures.
He doesn’t have a YouTube channel but is nevertheless popular on the video sharing service as numerous users have posted videos about him and his family.
Arthur’s into charity work and has attended several fundraiser events.
He would’ve pursued a career as an athlete if he weren’t a member of the British royal family.

Who is his mother Lady Sarah?
Lady Sarah Frances Elizabeth Chatto was born under the zodiac sign Taurus on 1 May 1964, in Kensington Palace, London, England. She’s the daughter of Antony Armstrong-Jones and Princess Margaret, and has a brother David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon; Lady Sarah’s the youngest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth and King George VI and was once 7th in line of succession to the British throne, while she’s today 28th.
Lady Sarah was baptized on 13 July 1964 at the private chapel of Buckingham Palace. She and her brother David were raised in the nursery Apartment 10 of Kensington Palace by nanny Verona Sumner, however, their father still spent a lot of his spare time with them, teaching them creativity and showing them how to build things. Lady Sarah’s parents’ marriage wasn’t a happy one; they separated when Lady Sarah was 12 and their divorce was finalized two years later. Lady Sarah and her brother went on to spend their weekends at Royal Lodge or Nymans, depending on which parent they were with, and spent holidays at Balmoral and Sandringham.
It was during these holidays that Lady Sarah painted landscapes, eventually falling in love with it which led her to become a professional painter later on in life. She attended her cousin Charles, Prince of Wales’ wedding with Lady Diana Spencer and was a bridesmaid; in May 1987, Lady Sarah travelled with her brother and mother to Hong Kong and China.
She studied at Bedales School prior to progressing to Camberwell School of Art, from which she matriculated in 1982; Lady Sarah continued her education at Royal Academy Schools, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in art in 1986. She then lived in India with her father for two years, during which she was employed to photograph a production of “A Passage to India”; after returning to London, Lady Sarah enrolled at Middlesex Polytechnic to study textile and fabric design. Her work has been exhibited at The Redfern Gallery since 1995, and she became vice president of the Royal Ballet in 2004.
She met Daniel Chatto while living in India and they exchanged vows on 14 July 1994, with Revered Chad Varah officiating the ceremony; Lady Sarah gave birth to their first son, Arthur’s older brother Samul David Benedict Chatto on 28 July 1996, and he’s today 29th in the line of succession.
