Who is Scarlet Vas?
Australian actress and social media star Scarlet Vas was born under the zodiac sign Taurus on 19 May 1995, in Melbourne, Victoria Australia. She has only four acting credits, and is perhaps known best for starring as Mishti Sharma in 185 episodes (2017-2018) of the popular romantic Australian TV series “Neighbours”, which was created by Reg Watson back in 1985, and today stars Jackie Woodburne, Alan Fletcher and Stefan Dennis. It follows the lives of a group of neighbors living in Erinsborough, Melbourne, Australia, and the series has won 26 of its 103 award nominations.

Scarlet was raised by her parents in Melbourne, but as she respects their privacy, not many details have been shared about them; however, her father’s believed to be a pilot and her mother a high school teacher. As Scarlet’s yet to speak about having siblings, most of her fans believe her to be an only child.

Scarlet’s debut film role was playing Charlotte Rhodes in the 2013 action crime mystery “Model Behaviour”, which starred Michael Fenemore Cocks, Stacey McMahon and Nathan Hill, while it was also written and directed by Nathan Hill. It follows a detective as he’s trying to catch a serial killer, and the film won four of its 13 award nominations.
In 2015, Scarlet played Vanessa in the short romantic comedy “I Am in Love”, which starred Dona Ranasooriya, Nish Pahwa and Abhinav Chopra, and was written and directed by Salman Arif. It follows Raj who’s fallen in love with Vanessa but their cultural barriers won’t let them be together.
Scarlet’s only other acting credit has been playing Libby in the 2017 episode “Mind Over Matter” of the drama mini-series “The Warriors”, which starred Nelson Baker, Reece Milne and Gordon Churchill, and was created by Robert Connolly and Tony Briggs. It follows two indigenous boys Maki and Zane, who’ve begun competing in the Australian Football League (AFL).
