The television series “The 4400” focuses on a group of 4400 people who have disappeared at various times beginning in the 1930s, but all appeared together in present times not having aged since the time of their disappearance. The show ran for four seasons until its cancellation in 2007- he played the role of Shawn Farrell, a character which was not supposed to be abducted but was taken in the act of saving his brother being abducted in 2001. While with the show, Flueger had other film projects such as “The World’s Fastest Indian” which is a biographical sports film based on the racer Burt Monro.
He also worked on the film entitled “Spin”, starring alongside Katie Cassidy and Adam Campbell in a story focusing on several people trying to recall the events of the previous night at a Los Angeles night club. In 2010, he was cast in the American version of the New Zealand series “Outrageous Fortune”, retitled “Scoundrels”, as one of the main characters Logan West; the show ran for a season, after which he had a few more film roles, including in the horror film “Kill Theory”.

The police procedural drama follows the patrol officers of the Intelligence Unit of the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department, and has been running for six seasons, and he’s also appeared in a recurring role in the sister show entitled “Chicago Fire”, initially as a rookie police officer. One of his latest projects is the film “The Tell-Tale Heart”, a horror story based on the Edgar Allan Poe short story of the same title.

For his personal life, it is rumored that Flueger is in a relationship with actress and “Chicago P.D.” co-star Marina Squerciati, though their relationship has not yet been confirmed. It was announced through social media that Marina gave birth to a daughter though details about the father have not been released, which led to a lot of speculation stating that he might be the baby’s father, and they actually uploaded an Instagram photo that has fueled the speculations. Prior to these rumors, it is known that he previously dated actress Carly Pope from 2005 to 2008, and was in a relationship with actress Briana Evigan from 2008 to 2011.
