The third youngest of four siblings Millie was raised by her parents Kelly and Robert Brown of unknown professions. The family moved back to their home in Bournemouth, Dorset England when she was four years old, then when she was seven they moved to Orlando, Florida USA, where she began taking acting classes. She would join Saturday acting workshops while there to pass her time. As for her education, since her parents soon after moved to Los Angeles because of her, she is now attending an unspecified high school there, and is yet to matriculate – college may follow that. Millie has also been interested in Muay Thai boxing from a young ag,e and is now adept at this discipline. However, since she is now quite busy, she can’t devote as much time to this hobby as she used to.

Millie’s career took off without her knowing, since she was spotted by a Hollywood talent scout during her acting classes back in Orlando, who then dialed her parents and said ‘she has instincts you cannot teach’, adding ‘she could mix it with the best kids in Hollywood.’ At his request, her parents took her to Los Angeles, where within a week she was meeting with the most prestigious children’s talent agencies. Not a single agent turned her down at that point, and within three months in Hollywood, she was offered a supporting role in the ABC’s “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”, which marked her TV screen debut. She featured in only two episodes, but that was enough for her to land her next role in 2014, this time as Madison O’Donnell in “Intruders”, after only one self-taped audition, appearing in eight episodes, then in three other popular shows in 2014 and 2015, including “Grey’s Anatomy.” In 2016, she landed the role of her life to date, as Eleven in Netflix’s “Stranger Things”, where she remains even today. At the moment, she is being paid $300,000 per episode in season 3 of the show. Additionally, she is scheduled to hit the screens in “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” and “Godzilla vs. Kong” in 2019 and 2020.
