In 2003, he was then hired as the senior manager of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which he was a part of for one year, before in 2005 becoming a legislative analyst at the FDA for another year, before promotion to senior legislative analyst for oversight. He served in that position until 2008 when he was transferred to Washington, DC to serve as a branch chief at the FDA until 2014, and would then work as a Director of Stakeholder Relations for the next month, before then returning to his position as branch chief in 2015.
