LONG before there was a Chris & Kim, this woman took me in. She cared for the pitiful newbie I was and forced her assistant at the time to run down a plate of steamed vegetables when I only had a slice for dinner. I love you Charlotte. Rest now angel. #mentor #MrsG #nomorepain #Iwillseeyouagain #theyorktheatercompany #musicalsinmufti
His next notable project was “Blood of a Champion”, a direct-to-DVD film starring Bokeem Woodbine and Deborah Cox. In 2012, he appeared in the comedy special entitled “Paul Mooney: The Godfather of Comedy”. However, Christopher never really found his stride in front of the camera and so continued his performances on Broadway. Eventually, his popularity would grow as he became associated with Kim Fields, leading to their romance and eventually marriage.

What’s crazy is how I look in this pic is how I feel right now: They want a statement from me but I don’t know what to say… How do I capture 40 years of all my love/admiration/respect/gratitude/joy/laughter in a statement??? How can I make them understand the body of your theater/film/tv work was amazing, with an iconic staple at the core?? How??? (Told you, my face and spirit right now mirrors me in this photograph)
In the latter part of her career, Fields has been more focused on reality television, particularly joining the Bravo Show entitled “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” during its eighth season.
