Lynette was born as Aryeh Judah Schoen Nusbacher on the 17th December 1966, in New York, USA, the child of Wayne Maines and his wife Kelly – she has a brother Jonas Maines who is her twin. When it comes to her education, Lynette dedicated her life to academics; after finishing high school, she enrolled at the University of Toronto, where she studied history and economics. Following her graduation, she enrolled at the Royal Military College of Canada, where she earned a masters degree in War Studies.

This isn’t all, as she was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Modern History from the University of Oxford. There is more, she was also a student at the National School of Government in Cranfield University, UK, where she has taken short programs on Organizational Leadership.

Career Beginnings

Lynette’s career started in 1988 when she joined the University of Toronto as an administrator. She served in the position until 1994, when she was hired as a Logistics Officer for the Canadian Armed Forces. She remained there for the next six years when she left the post.

As her popularity increased, Lynette started getting offers to appear on television, and in 2003 began appearing in the show “Time Commanders”.

Lynette is also an accomplished author, and has so far released several books – “The Battle of Bannockburn 1314” (2000), “War and Conflict” and “London’s Civil War 1642−46”, both released in 2002, among others, the sales of which have also contributed to her wealth.

Born as a male, Lynette lived the majority of her life as such, but it was in 2007 that she succumbed to the gender reassignment surgery, and since then she goes by the name Lynette. The sex change hasn’t affected her career in any way, nor her personal life, of which we will speak later.
