Emily Riedel was born on the 4th July 1988, in Homer, Alaska USA, is a gold miner and opera singer, best known to the world for appearing in the reality TV show “Bering Sea Gold”, aired on the Discovery Channel since 2012. Emily has most recently bought a dredging ship, named Eroica, which has helped her a lot in her business enterprises. Previously, she worked on a boat named The Clark, owned by Zeke Tenhoff.

While at University, Emily started chasing a career as an opera singer, and made a few notable appearances, before realizing that she couldn’t support her education financially just with her singing career. Then one day, a call from a friend changed her life for good. She moved to Nome, Alaska on the suggestion of Zeke Tenhoff, to join him on his dredging ship and dig for gold in the Bering Sea. Emily accepted his offer, and flew to Nome with just $300 in her pocket.
Rise to Prominence
Emily joined Zeke’s crew on his ship The Clark, and the two developed a relationship that would become more than a friendship. Working together brought them a fortune, but also fame, once the producers of the A&E network decided to offer Zeke, Emily and other gold miners from Nome, including Steve Pomrenke, Ian Foster, and Vernon Adkison, to become cast members of the reality show “Bering Sea Gold”.
