Before Fame – Rosa Blasi’s Early Career
Rosa’s on-camera debut occurred in 1996, when she appeared in the “High Tide” TV series, which was followed by a support role in the “Married with Children” TV series a year later. In 1997 she was cast for the recurring role of April Beane in the comedy TV series “Hitz”, which led her to appearing in other popular series, including “Frasier”, “Beverly Hills, 90210”, “Grown Ups” and “V.I.P.”.
However, the breakthrough in Rosa Blasi’s acting career occurred in 2000 when she was cast for the recurring role of Dr. Luisa Delgado in TV medical drama series “Strong Medicine”. She reprised this role through the show’s six seasons ’til 2006, appearing in over 130 episodes which gained her a huge dose of popularity. Meantime, her debut big screen appearance came in 2004, when she was cast for the role of Maria in Takashi Shimizu’s mystery horror movie “The Grudge”.
In the course of the next several years, Rosa added several movie and television appearances to her portfolio, including “Eight Days a Week” (2007) and “Next Stop Murder” (2010), and TV series “Lone Star” and “The Whole Truth”. Between 2009 and 2012, Rosa portrayed Ronnie Cruz in the TV sports drama series “Make It or Break It” which was followed by appearing in an episode of the “Hot in Cleveland” series.

On several occasions, Rosa Blasi appeared in popular TV shows including “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn” and “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher”.
