While still pursuing his education, in August 2008, Shifrin applied as a legal intern at the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where he was accepted and remained until December 2008. With this experience, he obtained the position of student prosecutor at the US Attorney’s Office in August 2009, which he kept until June 2010, followed in 2011 by securing an associate position at Fried Frank in New York. He stayed here until March 2013, then transferred over to Storch Amini & Munves also as an associate. Finally, in June 2014, he obtained the position he has today, as an associate at Baker Hostetler LLP. He claims that his expertise lies in appeals, civil litigation, legal research, legal writing, criminal law and litigation; he is currently concentrated on matters such as complex commercial litigation, representing both small and big businesses, as well as individuals.
