Early Life and Education

Lindsay was raised in her hometown, by an insurance company agent father, and a home maker mother with thus far unknown identities. Lindsay was the youngest child in her family, but her siblings’ names and ages are unknown. Also, Lindsey didn’t grow up in a complete family, since her parents divorced when she was only a few months old. It is unknown who got custody, but Lindsay had contact with both of her parents while maturing. It is unknown when exactly she took an interest in what she does today, including her childhood hobbies. As per her education, she enrolled at Toro High School, where she served as a sports editor for her high school’s yearbook and from where she matriculated in 1994. Later she enrolled at the University of South California, from where she graduated with a major in broadcast journalism in 1998.

Career

Lindsay sought employment in her profession while she was still in college, thus obtaining an internship at both the USC Athletic Department and Fox Sports Net. Upon completing her internships in 1999, Lindsay moved to the ABC-affiliated KVEW-TV in the Washington Tri-Cities for her first full-time job as a reporter. After a year, she transferred over to the Fox-affiliated KKFX-TV in Santa Barbara, California, where she served as a weekday sports anchor. However, she didn’t stay here for long, as she moved to Fox Sports Net (FSN) West, where she would cover college and professional teams’ performance in Los Angeles for the next six years. During her time there, she was commended as one of the most visible reporters and anchors, also thanks to her sideline reporting of USC/UCLA football. She later moved to NBC Sports, where she got to cover the prestigious 2008 Summer Olympics, and after that to Versus, where she covered the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In the same year, she ultimately joined the NFL Network, where she remains employed until today as a sportscaster. Her contribution to the media was in 2010 recognized officially with the GENII Award for Excellence in Sports Reporting.
