Rebecca King-Crews is probably best known as the wife of actor and comedian Terry Crews. They’ve appeared together in the reality television show entitled “The Family Crews”, in which she stars alongside her family including her five children. Aside from that, she’s served as a producer, is a gospel singer, delivers inspirational speeches, and has worked as an actress over the course of her career.

Rebecca was born on 26 December 1965 into a Christian family of African American descent, which many don’t figure out at first due to her fairer complexion. She grew up in Gary, Indiana and would attend several school, eventually settling in Lew Wallace High School as a top student of her year, and during her time there, she was also named as Miss Gary, Indiana, USA. It was also then that she started taking an interest in acting, trying her hand in several productions, including “Oklahoma”, “Music Man”, and “The Wiz”. Her interest in theatre continued towards college, in which she also pursued a musical career while attending Michigan University, and acting in stage productions.
Her first on-screen acting opportunity came in 1996, when she became a part of the television series entitled “E! True Hollywood Story”. She was also a part of another project called “The Wendy Williams Show”, before having a guest role in “The Mo’Nique Show”. Her popularity started to increase as more opportunities came her way, and soon she found herself being featured mainly in fashion publications, including “Today’s Black Woman”, “Television Guide”, “Reality Magazine” and “Heart and Soul”. After her marriage to Terry Crews, she then became a part of the reality show about their family life entitled “The Family Crew”, which was aired on BET and showcased the daily lives of their family, including their careers and home life. However, in 2011, the show ended.

Aside from her television career, she also does a lot of charity work, being well known for her involvement with the Christian community. She’s also done speaking engagements including at the Uniquely You Summit held in Pennsylvania, Maryland. She has also spoken at the Heart and Soul Awards held in Baltimore, and at the Well Done Awards held in New York City. Another event she was a part of is The Tom Joyner Family Reunion, which was held in Orlando, Florida.

Rebecca married actor Terry Crews on 29 July 1990, and they’ve been together since. They met while attending college, and they have been supporting each other especially through Terry’s sports and entertainment career. They have four daughters and a son. During their television show, it was revealed that her eldest daughter became pregnant, and she was not yet married at the time. Another notable event that caused a lot of controversy and coverage was Terry’s autobiography entitled “Manhood: How to Be a Better Man or Just Live with One”. In the book, he told the public how he had struggled with a long standing addiction to pornography, which impacted his own life as well as their family’s. It seems that Rebecca has moved past it, since the couple and the family seem stronger after the affair.
