Who is Hickok45?
Greg Kinman was born on 11 July 1950, in Pleasant View, Tennessee, USA, and is perhaps best known as a YouTuber who uses the name Hickok4. Prior to becoming a YouTube star, he was an English teacher, but nowadays he uploads videos about weapons, which were his first love.
His channel was launched in early 2007, and it still works as of today. Since the beginning of the channel, more than 1,200 videos have been uploaded, in many of which Hickok45 talks about numerous modern and historic weapons, and additionally discusses their functionality, history and looks. In July 2009, he uploaded the video under the title “Glock 23 at 230 yards”, watched by almost 700,000 people as of today, and several days after that “1911 Colt WW1 Replica”.

Hickok45’s other recent videos include shooting the “Breeze # 25”, “Glock 19 Small Game Hunt” and “Are Gun Channels in Jeopardy?”; the latter video has been watched by more than 321,000 people as of today.
Overall, it is safe to say that Greg was able to establish a loyal fan base, thanks to his consistent uploading schedule. As of today he has more than 3.1 million subscribers and his channel has been watched close to 900 million times, which must have made a significant contribution to his finances. Prior to becoming a YouTube sensation, Hickok45 worked as an English teacher at the Franklin Road Academy, in Nashville, Tennessee; according to his students, he was one of the best teachers they have ever met, and had an average rating of 4.95 points on ratemyteachers.com, with many students stating that working with him was a “wonderful experience” and adding that they would do it again.
Hickok45 has one son, named John, occasionally featured on his videos. He doesn’t share any information regarding the identity of his wife. Being active in the entertainment field, he is naturally active on social media such as Twitter and Instagram, and is followed by an army of over 60,000 people on the former and almost 200,000 on the latter. The majority of his Instagram posts are photos of his weapons, and himself and his son. Besides that, the family owns one cat, and he occasionally posts photos of the cat as well. In 2010, he gained more exposure when Jay Leno played his video about pumpkin carving, and additionally his videos appeared in media in countries such as France, India and Vietnam.
